This curbless bathroom was prepped with pre-waterproofed boards, with a prefab foam shower tray and a warming system in main area. “We had to follow the curve on the cen- ter wall and make sure it was perfect enough to install those 2”x10” ceramic tiles,” Maris said. “The client was very happy at the end, and this always puts a big smile on my face.” Maris’s crew floated the shower floors and the main bath floors with mud work. All walls were prepped and taped. Afterwards liquid waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane was applied. “These 8”x36” tiles on walls and beautiful pebbles on floors came out perfect!”he said. “Moroccan cement tiles were installed over mud work, and the client was happy enough to recommend me for another project,” he said. This bathroom was prepped and water- proofed with liquid membrane. Wall tiles are 3D Turkish Travertine all around up to the ceiling, and floor tiles are chiseled-edge travertine sheets. Maris also fabricated and installed the solid surface on the bathtub and the vanity.
