Total Solutions Plus (TSP) at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington D.C. last November was a smash hit, with a record- setting crowd of over 650 people in attendance. The annual conference is organized by the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA), the Tile Contractors of America (TCAA), the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA). More contractors attended than ever before, enjoying a program- ming blend of business and techni- cal topics as well as motivational speakers. For 2017, several NTCA contrac- tor members won a trip to TSP. New NTCA members who joined at a NTCA Tile & Stone Workshop had an opportunity to win. One of the winners was Tom Habelt, of Habelt Construction in Albany, Ore. He attended with wife Lydia. Habelt praised the variety of sessions available, which he said had “something to suit everyone’s needs. “I felt that in attending, I would learn better, more efficient ways to work and expand my business as a whole, and that I would make valuable connections with others in the industry. “What I did not anticipate was being asked to become more involved in the NTCA social media side of things!” Habelt said. “I’m very excited about that! I also had the opportunity to sit in on a few of the NTCA board meetings, to learn more about how the NTCA works NTCA NEWS –––––––––––––––––––––––– New NTCA Members win trips to Total Solutions Plus By Lesley Goddin Over 650 people attended TSP held in Washington, D.C. last November Tom Habelt (l.) of Habelt Construction, won one of the NTCA-sponsored trips to TSP by joining the association during a NTCA Tile & Stone Workshop.
