NTCA NEWS 112 TileLetter | October 2017 FACES IN THE NEWS ––––––––– Lunada Bay – Christopher Brown has been named national sales director, based out of Lunada Bay Tile’s Harbor City headquarters. He joined Lunada Bay Tile in 2011 to manage western region sales and has 18 years of experi- ence in the tile industry. From 1999 to 2010 he worked for the tile and stone company Walker Zanger where he managed sales and held the position of branch manager in Hayward, Calif. Ceramic Tile and Stone Consultants, Inc. (CTaSC) – Kent Klaser has joined as a proj- ect manager and will work alongside found- er Donato Pompo. He will work as a forensic expert, expert witness, and will oversee tile and stone investigations. Klaser will also develop new specifica- tions for new construction projects or projects that are remediating failures, as well as quality con- trol and quality assurance plans to ensure new tile and stone installa- tions are installed correctly. He will also develop training programs for tile installation companies through the University of Ceramic Tile and Stone, a division of CTaSC, start- ing with estimating, superintendent and foreman courses. Klaser has over 20 years in the tile and stone industry, working with his family company, Klaser Tile in San Diego. He is a licensed ceramic tile and stone installer and a mason install- er, and has a Bachelor of Science degree. Keene Building Products – DarrenKeeganjoinsthe company as director- Keene Manufacturing. Keegan graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineer- ing. Throughout his career, Keegan excelled in a wide range of jobs, from an environmental, mechani- cal, and plant/applications engi- neer, to a general manager and vice president. Keene Building Products is an American manufac- turer of three-dimensional filament products for the building envelope and noise control markets.
