Mark Kaiser of Team Kaiser Remodeling raises awareness for tile certification QUALIFIED LABOR –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Mark Kaiser, owner of Team Kaiser Remodeling in Ypsilanti, Mich., owes everything he has accomplished to his grandfather and Uncle Jim. These two men ran Boyd Brothers Remodeling for more than 20 years when Mark was grow- ing up, and this company is where Kaiser got his start in tiling at the age of 10. Now, Kaiser has three employees and has been in busi- ness for 15 years. His company spe- cializes in residential, new homes, remodeling and renovation. Kaiser became a Certified Tile Installer (CTI) in April 2017 at Coverings. In his own words: “I did it for my family, for my business, for my pride, and to validate my place in this amazing industry.” Kaiser has the distinction of being the only CTI in the Ann Arbor, Mich., region, some- thing that sets him apart from others in his area and allows him to promote him- self over his compe- tition. Now, Kaiser makes sure every cus- tomer he comes into contact with knows that he’s a CTI, certified as a tile installer.
