Eighty-six exhibi- tors took part in the tabletop exhib- it and reception on Monday night, giving attendees a chance to see new products, learn about new servic- es and interact with manufacturers and suppliers in an intimate setting. “Total Solutions Plus 2016 was a success on every level,” said Bart Bettiga, NTCA executive director. “Numerous people have reached out to tell me personally how much benefit they received from attending this year’s conference. The educa- tional seminars were outstanding, and the attendees were a perfect mix of professionals from manufacturing, distribution and contracting.” NTCA Annual meeting During the NTCA Annual meet- ing on Monday, October 25, six new regional directors were voted in and outgoing regional direc- tors Dan Lambert, Lambert Tile & Stone; Jesse Deason, Rubenstein’s Contract; Rod Owen, C.C. Owen Co.; and Greg Michael of Michael’s Custom Tile were recognized for their service during 2013-2016. The new directors are: • Region 2 – Robert Showers, Avalon Flooring • Region 3 – Paige Smith, Neuse Tile Services Jennifer Hoff (l.) and Elena Grant from Taffy Event Strategies, the management company for Coverings. At the table top event, attendees had the opportunity to see a dry saw from IQ Power Tools that captures dust and atmospheric contaminants and takes 30 seconds to set up.
