Director of training and certi- fication Scott Carothers is also involved in presenting CTEF Educational Programs around the country at select distributors and host locations, to bring education and training within reach of inter- ested installers. The commitment of TCNA and the NTCA will assure continuance of CTEF programs for years to come at a very modest price, and manufacturers have been generous with financial and material dona- tions. All these activities come at a cost, much of which is defrayed by generous donations of industry sponsors. For instance, Coverings' owners have donated over $100,000 annually in recent years to help support CTEF. In addition, NTCA raises funds for CTEF in its annual Voluntary Contribution and Friends of CTEF fundraiser in early December. People can donate to CTEF at https://www.ceramictilefounda- tion.org/ and the money goes directly to costs associated with the CTI and ACT certification pro- gram, as well as regular operations of the Foundation. Without this support, CTEF would not have been able to accomplish many of the goals it has to this date, or to help equip our installers for the future.
