The hands-on test started Thursday afternoon with three par- ticipants and finished Friday after- noon with five participants. Even though two students missed the first day, they were still able to finish their work with the allotted time. Participants were: Martin Sanchez, Griffin High School; Timothy Crawford, Statesboro High School; Logan Conyers, Lee County High School; Trebeon Sales, Northside High School; and Cristian M e n d o z a , K e n n e s a w Mountain High School. None of these stu- dents had exten- sive knowledge of setting tile.
