in a book. The network within the NTCA is invaluable. We cannot recall how many times we have reached out to members from all over just to ask a question, or ask about their experiences with cer- tain products, or even if they have run into a certain situation and how they handled it. “The NTCA Workshops in our area are also another benefit we are so grateful for,” they said. “This gives us a chance to interact with those in our immediate area. It is always nice to know oth- ers around you; we have found ourselves reaching out to these people frequently. You form a support system of people to reach out to, and sometimes they also reach out to ask about past expe- riences or request support with issues they may be having. “The publications are also a favorite of ours,” they conclud- ed. “You see new products, read about others’ experiences in the industry, and also about new pro- cedures or issues a vast majority in our industry may be experienc- ing. We cannot express our appre- ciation for not only our industry, but the National Tile Contractors Association as well.” To get details about NTCA mem- bership or join, contact Jim Olson at jim@tile-assn.com or phone 601-942-2996. www.tilecareer.com The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation provides educa- tion and installer certification for professionals working in the ceramic tile and stone industry.
